Application Process

Each applicant must complete a formal application and supply the following:

Official transcripts of academic records Letters of recommendation, including one from an academic instructor Statement of the applicant’s interest in becoming a Rabbi or Teacher of the deaf, and why

All candidates must be interviewed by a representative of Hebrew Seminary of the Deaf. Interview location will be arranged with applicant as soon as possible after receipt of application.

Applications are considered at all times of the year.

Decisions on acceptance will normally be made within 30 days after the interview. Applicants will be informed of the decision in writing.
