Hebrew Seminary of the Deaf's Mission

• provides an educational center for the deaf and hearing to learn about the Jewish religion and heritage.
   
• trains Jews, deaf and non-deaf, to work within Jewish deaf and hearing communities as teachers and rabbis.
   
• prepares students to recognize and meet the needs of the Jewish deaf and hearing culture.
   
• grants Rabbinical Ordination and Teacher Training to those who fulfill the requirement of the Seminary’s Program and wish to serve Jewish deaf and hearing communities.
